Global Scenic Services

As a Scenic Designer in Local 829, and a stage hand in Local 74, Matt has freelanced  in all aspects of production on Broadway, Regional, Film, and Industrials.  He continues to act as design consultant on RENT the Broadway tour, after working on numerous productions world wide. His work can be seen in the independent film PI, for which he was Production Designer and in Houston Texas at the Fuddruckers restaurant chain. He joined Global Scenic Services soon after it’s inception as head carpenter and quickly moved up the ranks to shop foreman. Matt’s talents as a carpenter, experience in various venues and his eye for design make him a valuable asset to the Global team. He is a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University, where he majored in Theatre.  When he is not at the shop he continues to coach his sons, Luke, Will, and Mark in soccer.
